Oliver Husain presents a set of three prints whose image and title can be read this way, that way, upside down and right-side up. In order to fully apprehend the unfixed, hybrid, and queer comic figures in these works our bodies too must be on the move. We can spiral them in our hands, torque our torsos, or bend over and look at them through legs spread. This animating element of the work speaks to Husain’s sustained interest in theater, performance, carnival and games.
